Exciting News!!!!

First, I have had some comments on our picture above and would like to explain!!! One night while waiting for dinner to cook Joey and I did the airplane ( remember doing that when you were a kid). Well it never crossed our minds to move away from the stairs. That picture is the result of our friend Denny's quick thinking right before I rolled down the stairs. No one was hurt in the making of this picture.
Second.........I got accepted into nursing school. I'm super excited and nervous but very ready to be working towards becoming a nurse!!! Thanks to my wonderful hubby for working so hard and allowing me to go to school and not worrying about bills or having to work. I love you babe!!!

Our Poor Blog!!!

Our poor blog has been neglected for months and I can't promise it will get better but I will try! The Burger family has been very busy and always on the move. With summer finally here we're not inside much between camping, shooting guns and just loving the out doors. Joey is enjoying work and always being the perfect husband that he is!! He is positive that Obama is going take away guns and/or ammo so he has been stocking up on both and our house is starting to look like a military gun shed but at least no one will be breaking in anytime soon. I finished school with a 4.0 and I should find out if I got into nursing school sometime this week. I start my job next week working at the hospital here in Rock Springs. Life is just fantastic. Our house in Grand Junction is still on the market but I've heard that summer is the best time to sell.....so hopefully ours is one of them. I though I had more pictures of the last couple months but they must be on Joey's computer and I will TRY to post more.

Joey's new gun. Pretty excited about it.

The above picture is my cookie sheet after having a lapse in judgement. I did an Easter egg hunt for Joey. Each egg had a couple bullets for his new gun in it and some candy. Well I hid an egg in the oven and forgot about it. Later I went to cook dinner and pre-heated the oven. To make a long story short it went something like this..... a couple gun shots.....a scared Kimber and dogs.....a destroyed cookie sheet......the house smelling like gun powered.......oven still works and everyone was OK. Then Joey about died of laughter when I told him the story and now we have one funny story to tell family and friends.......The End.

Take Care Everyone
